2022 Philanthropy Thesis Award🏆

On March 24th of this year, The Center on Philanthropy at the Beautiful Foundation launched a meaningful award ceremony. Three theses in total, as follows, received the 2022 Philanthropy Thesis Award.
▲A study on the relationship between parents and children’s donation behavior(An, Se young. Dept. Graduate School of Social Welfare. Yonsei University), ▲The effects of advertising message types based on the spatial and social distance : focusing on donation advertising(Au, Su Ha. Communication in Advertising and Public Relations Major. Department of the Graduate School. Hongik University), ▲Validation of the relations of nonprofit organization reputation, organizational identification, and continuance intention of donation : Focus on the moderating effect of the socio-emotional selectivity theory variables(Dr. Kim, Hyun Hye. Department of Media Communication. Sungkyunkwan University)

A general examiner, Park Hun, who is the Director of The Center on Philanthropy at the Beautiful Foundation, gave his remarks, “Through the examination, the creative and deep perspectives from the diverse academic sectors to vitalize philanthropic culture could be seen,” and added, “the awarded thesis will be helpful for fundraising organizations and the pro bono field.”

The center delivered \1,000,000 to each winner. The winners are planning to give the presentation of the awarded thesis in the 21st nonprofit colloquium, which is scheduled to be held at the end of June, this year.  

Congratulations on seeing the fruit of hard work! The Center on Philanthropy looks forward to the winners’ future performance.
Last but not least, the center will continuously work hard for the maturation of philanthropic culture in Republic of Korea through research, publication, forming networks, and presenting advanced cases.
