The ARNOVA-Asia Conference began in 2017 in China and is held every other year. The Center on Philanthropy at The Beautiful Foundation participated in 2nd ARNOVA-Asia (Hong Kong) and the 8th ARNOVA-Asia (China, online). This year’s conference, held at Yonsei University from June 21st to June 22nd, was a great success. The Center on Philanthropy held a session on June 21st titled “Resilience and Transformation of Nonprofits in Korea Post COVID-19.”

On June 20th, a tour program was organized for researchers participating in the conference, hosted by ARCSPA and KNPRN. As scholars are interested in philanthropy, visiting Korean foundations was a special experience. The hosts provided an opportunity to visit notable Korean civic organizations and foundations.

The Asia Pacific Giving Network (APGN) is a community formed to promote cross-border philanthropic activities in the Asia-Pacific region. Launched in 2023, this network aims to encourage international philanthropic activities that are growing along with the economic development of the Asia-Pacific region. It seeks to promote interest in overseas donations within countries and provide practical support to foundations and charitable organizations.
